I am a San Francisco–based artist and designer currently working primarily in clay.

I was born and raised on the coast of Maine in a quaint seaside village rich in colonial charm. That colonial and folk aesthetic has had a profound influence on me and continues to shape my work today.

My mother, a self-taught artist, has been one of my greatest inspirations and was the heart of our creative home growing up. One of my favorite childhood memories is painting our family pets on pieces of wood my dad cut for us with his jigsaw. That little painting still sits on my mantel today.

I studied Illustration at Parsons School of Design in New York City. In the early 2000s, I moved west to San Francisco, where I became part of the wonderful printmaking community at City College of San Francisco. I spent years making intaglio etchings while building a career as a graphic designer, always continuing to make paintings, drawings, papier-mâché sculptures, collages, and tiny colonial cardboard houses.

In the fall of 2025, I began working with clay for the first time and was immediately hooked. It has become the primary focus of my creative practice. I love making objects by hand that celebrate imperfection and individuality—pieces with personality that invite their own stories and, hopefully, become little treasures in someone's home.
